Toad in the Hole Another classic British dish. 1 Lb English Bangers (link sausages) 1 oz butter 4 oz white flour 1 Egg half pint milk Directions Pre-heat oven to 425 °F Place butter and sausages in a roasting tin. Cook for 10 minutes until sausages are fully cooked Add flour to a bowl, add raw egg and half the milk, beating until batter is smooth. Pour in the remaining milk and beat until very smooth. Pour the batter into the roasting tin and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the batter is well risen and golden. Serves: 4
